Feb 11, 2010 at 5:52 AM

Good Day Sir/Ma'am

I am using visual basic and was reading your code and stop at this file "FileSynchronizerDB.designer.cs"

I am wondering if you can tell me how did you generate "FileSynchronizerDB.designer.cs"

//------------------------------------------------------------------------------
// <auto-generated>

//
//     Changes to this file may cause incorrect behavior and will be lost if

I was trying to make a linq to sql but failed.

TIA,

Hello elitefox,

I created the database from within Visual Studio, and selected "Add New Item" option and selected the "LINQ to SQL" item within it.

A good reference is: http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2007/05/29/linq-to-sql-part-2-defining-our-data-model-classes.aspx

Kind regards,

Hans

Thanks...

I click the show all files and it showed all the files including the .dbml file whichis not showing probably because of the upgrade to VS 2008

and to convert the following database... you use sqlmetal? since sqlce is not support by VS2008 linq to sql designer.

Thanks Again,
